Davis, President National Women’s Board DATE: November 22, 2022 SUBJECT: Meeting for National and Local Women’s Auxiliary Officers On behalf of the officers and members of the National Women’s Board, I bring you greetings in the precious name of Jesus Christ. The National Women are excited about the positive reports and interaction with local presidents and officers regarding our national church theme, A Return to National Unity. Many of the local departments were blessed to become reengaged. If we can assist you in any manner, please reach out to your National Women’s liaison or to me. As you know, the members of the National Women’s Board were selected and appointed by the Board of Bishops for the purpose of assisting local churches as they address the spiritual, social, and cultural needs of sisters of all ages. The National Women’s Board will convene a virtual meeting via zoom with all local women’s auxiliary officers on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. The purpose of this meeting is to review the overall goals of our department with the local officers as issued by the Board of Bishops. Additionally, we will share with you national/local partnership efforts to bring about national unity across the church body, plans for the upcoming 2023 National Women’s Conference, and the National Single Women’s Retreat. We pray for the continued support and involvement of the sisters throughout the church body as we move forward. You will receive additional information from the National Women’s Board in the weeks ahead.
