Bishop Paul C. Johnson was born on November 22, 1956 in Columbia, S.C. to the late Deacon Richard S. Johnson and Sis. Helen B. Johnson.  He graduated from the University of South Carolina with an Associate Degree in Business in 1976, and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting in 1979.  Pastor Johnson currently serves as Corporate Security Officer for The Coastal Bank in Hinesville, Georgia.  Presently he has 24 years of professional banking experience and serves on the Board of Directors of four (4) civic and governmental organizations.  Pastor Johnson also serves on two (2) Advisory Board of the Department of Justice.

Bishop Johnson was baptized in the precious name of Jesus Christ on June 13, 1972 and received the gift of the Holy Ghost on June 19, 18972.  He received his call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in 1976.  Like Jonah, he tried to decline the call of God.  However, after many trials and several confirmations, he surrendered his will and the proverbial fish delivered him to the coastal City of Hinesville, Georgia where he currently serves as Pastor.
