On Saturday, April 28, 2000, the National
Brotherhood Department of the Progressive Church convened a special day
of activities for the brothers at the Headquarters Church in Columbia,
SC. Several hundred brothers from around the Progressive Churches
were in attendance. The morning began with prayer from 7:00 to 8:00
a.m., which was opened by the Chairman of the National Brotherhood,
Deacon Phil Ross. Following prayer, a fellowship breakfast was held in
the Progressive Family Life Center from 8:00 to 9:00. Following
breakfast, special break-out seminars were held for the various
brotherhood groups. All in attendance were encouraged and
inspired. We look forward to the next Brotherhood Weekend! |
